🥩 Ingredients

300 g of pork neck or grilled pork, sliced into bite-sized pieces

1/4 cup of broth or water

Chili flakes (to taste)

1/2 tablespoon of toasted rice powder

1/2 tablespoon of lime juice

1/2 tablespoon of fish sauce

1 tablespoon of sliced shallots

pinch of sugar

Chopped green onions and coriander (or culantro if preferred)

Fresh mint leaves for added aroma

Fresh vegetables like cucumber, long beans, or cabbage

Sticky rice to serve on the side

Instructions:

1.Grill or Sear the Pork: Grill the pork on a pan or charcoal grill until slightly charred for a smoky flavor. Then slice into bite-sized pieces. (Alternatively, you can sear the pork in a little broth until cooked through.)

2.Season the Pork: Place the sliced pork in a mixing bowl. Add chili flakes, toasted rice powder, lime juice, sugar and fish sauce. Toss well to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning aim for a perfect balance of sour, salty, and spicy.

3.Add Fresh Herbs: Add sliced shallots, chopped green onions, coriander, and fresh mint leaves. Gently mix everything together.

Serve:

Plate Nam Tok Moo and serve with fresh vegetables and warm sticky rice. Enjoy your flavorful, spicy pork salad!
